Irma Servodio was born in 1984 in Benevento. As a child she attended the work-shop of her grandfather Domenico Servodio, where she started to get familiar with brushes and colors. In her first works she used mixed techniques but showing grand interest in nature subjects and realistic investigation. In the following years she intensely increased her training in restoring several wooden statues and pottery, alongside her father, Remo. She graduated at Benevento High School of Art and she specialized in Medieval History, at the “Federico II” University of Naples. She perfected her technique in the art studio of the Maestro Mario Ferrante. In her early years as an artist she engaged in several collective exhibitions, but soon after she achieved her first major solo exhibition entitled “The Breath of Matter”, curated by Mazzoleni Foundation, with which she still works. Her works are in Italian and in foreign private collections. She currently lives and works in Stezzano.
